Hi! I'm Laurie and I'm the creator and owner of Designing Squirrel. I opened my shop in 2020 during the "shelter in place" pandemic. Being an entrepreneur at heart, it was a perfect fit. Designing Squirrel was born out of my love for squirrels, painting, drawing, photography, and graphic design.

I'm Mom to three adult children and Grandma to four growing boys and a brand-new granddaughter. I am a self-taught graphic designer, pastor, and published author. My favorite place is the beach or relaxing next to a stream or body of water. I also enjoy crocheting, movies, hanging out with friends, playing games, and trying new recipes.
